Shooting Sport Rotarians

The International Fellowship of Shooting Sport Rotarians invites you to become a member and sponsor an event in your part of the world.

The International Fellowship of Shooting Sport Rotarians was established in November of 2005. Since then a Spring Clays Shoot has taken place annually in NE Florida in various locations over the years. We would love to see more events sponsored by IFSSR members in their part of the world.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity to promote better knowledge on the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship and having worldwide fellowship with firearms as a sport.

Proceeds from IFSSR events support The Rotary Foundation that supports programs which encourage world understanding and peace through international humanitarian aid, educational and cultural exchange programs as well as projects in the Rotarian's local communities. In recent years the proceeds have gone to PolioPlus as we have worked together to bring awareness and "Shoot Down Polio" to eradicate this disease from the world.

Over the last few years, more than $150,000 has been donated to these deserving organizations:

  • The Rotary Foundation (Annual Fund & PolioPlus)
  • IM Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless
  • Wolfson Children's Hospital
  • Character Counts
  • Police Athletic League (for afterschool children's program)
  • Second Harvest Food Bank
  • Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
  • Wounded Warrior Project

We encourage you to become actively involved in our Fellowship and share your ideas and shooting sport event experiences.
